Guide Review - Eureka-BlueSky Designs Freedom Tent For Disabled Campers

Eureka teamed up with BlueSky Designs to create a unique tent that specifically meets the needs of disabled campers. The Freedom is a luxury 3 season, 2 person tent that incorporates all of the features of Eureka's Stormshield technology: double wall construction, lots of windows, bath tub floor with factory taped seams, self-supporting frames, shock-corded poles, post and grommet attachments, and twin-track zipper systems. Besides the usual Eureka tent features, the Freedom uses continuous pole sleeves and pole pockets so that disabled campers can assemble this tent by themselves from their wheel chair on one side of the tent. Other disabled features include a zipper-less vestibule door, pull handles on the internal door and window zippers, and side entry doors to the sleeping area that allow transfer of a person onto a sleeping cot. The Freedom is a spacious tent with large windows and a large vestibule to store a wheel chair or other gear. Besides being a great tent designed to accommodate disabled campers, it also makes a spacious tent for a couples.
