The eGear spotlight really is a compact light, yet it puts out a good amount of light for its size. Unfortunately, as the products specs say: it fits most automotive outlets. It did not stay in our 2008 Chevy Silverado, but it fit fine in my 1994 Dodge Intrepid. The Chevy did not have a lighter with its outlet, but the Dodge did. Maybe that's the difference. Anyhow, if it doesn't fit eGear has an adaptor you can buy to remedy the problem, but I couldn't find any info about the adaptor on their site. The practicality of this light makes it worthwhile. I know where to find it, and I know it will be ready to use. Good $20 investment.
