The Bottom Line

The Springbar Campsite canvas tent is the perfect car camping tent for two campers. It's well constructed and uses quality materials. One person can set it up in less than 15 minutes. You can stand up in this tent, and there's room to spare for two sleeping adults. It offers great rain protection, and it's very stable in the wind. Made in America, and costs around $430.

Guide Review - Springbar Campsite Canvas Tent

My wife set this tent up by herself in less than 15 minutes. I was immediately impressed with the construction and materials of this tent. The seams are folded and double-stitched. The large front door and rear window allow for great ventilation. The square design and height provide plenty of room for six footers to stand up and move around inside. The large 6-foot canopy gives good shade and rain protection for entering the tent. Other features that I liked: treated canvas walls, steel wire stake guides, heavy-duty poles, noseeum meshing, heavy-duty zippers, one piece vinyl-laminated polyester floor, large gear storage bag that zips to either side of the tent, and the interior space. This is a great tent for couples or families with one or two kids.

Although it's been raining a lot the past month, we were able to set the tent up in dry weather. So we didn't get a chance to experience how well this tent repels rain. However it was windy for a couple of days, and even without guy-lines this tent remained very stable and did not flap. I really like this tent.
