Submitted by Michelle Warren, "This was my dad's recipe. It can either be placed on a grill or laid in the coals. You can also make this as a whole dish instead of individuals, in the Dutch oven, or Crock-pot."
Submitted by Girl Scout Troop #149, "Easy clean up. Great for the last meal before breaking camp. This is the favorite recipe of Girl Scout Troop #149!"
Submitted by Karen Dishaw, "An easy one to make on the grill or the campfire."
Submitted by Rosemary, "This recipe is wonderful because the cleanup is little. You can add what one person likes and omit what another dislikes. This was always one of our favorites when I was a kid because mom always just cut up the potatoes and onions and we put it together ourselves."
Submitted by Lit'l John, "This is something me and my brother threw together on our last night of camping a couple of years ago. It's all we had left to eat of our food supply and man was it good."
Submitted by Tanya Craig, "The wonderful smell of the curry will bring everyone running, even the little ones. I have four children and this is one of the few meals everyone in the family will eat."
Submitted by Mark Thompson, "As a camping meal this has been a regular request for lunch. It may seem mild, so if you like it zesty add a little hot pepper to it for an added kick."
Submitted by Joe Adams, "About ten years ago one of my camping buddies pulled a can of biscuits out of his cooler one cold camping morning and introduced us to this great and simple culinary miracle."
Submitted by Rhonda. This is a classic dish that goes well over rice.
Submitted by Jim, "Quick and easy to prepare. I found this recipe on the Kraft Foods site and have used it several times. My Venture Scouts (Ages 14-20) love it and can make it easily on the trail. Tip: put the ground beef in a baggie and freeze it, then wrap in foil and put in fanny pack. When ready for dinner it should be thawed."
