Cave Run Lake from Zilpo campground, Daniel Boone National Forest, Kentucky

My wife and I camped here in our popup for a week in September 1999. The campground was uncrowded, and the weather was gorgeous. We had a site on the last loop near the shores of Cave Run Lake. Zilpo is a perfect place to camp in the fall, but it can be very buggy at other times of the year. Read Betty's review to know what I mean. She's lucky she didn't run into chiggers.
