Located within Devils Postpile National Monument, Rainbow Falls is a popular hiking destination in the Reds Meadow Valley. The San Joaquin River plunges more than 100 feet creating a dramatic waterfall. The sun and mist from the waterfall regularly cast a rainbow and is best seen from the nearby viewing platform.
