A-1 Steak
A camping recipe from Jim. Here is the trick to a very good steak.

Baby Back Ribs
A camping recipe from David. Baby Back Ribs are a fravorite on the grill. For camping, marinate the ribs overnight, pat them dry before applying a dry rub, and store them in a Ziploc in your cooler until you're ready to grill. They are grilled dry and bbq sauce is applied when served.

Barbecued Pork Hocks
A camping recipe from Hotshot. An excellent alternative to common meats. The skin is good too, reminding me of the crackling my mother used to come up with on her pork roasts years ago. You don't need any bbq sauce.

Blackened Chicken
A camping recipe from David. If you like Cajun, you'll like this rub, which you can make from common ingredients in your spice rack.

Boonie Burgers
A camping recipe from Boonie. These cheese-stuffed burgers are so easy to make and great tasting.

Caesar Lamb Chops
A camping recipe from cabalot. I call this Caesar Lamb Chops because it has almost all the ingredients as the dressing minus the egg and anchovies and with the addition of parsley and rosemary. Adjust the ingredients to your taste. If you don't like mustard, don't add it. I don't like mustard, but it adds a nice background flavor in a marinade. The same recipe is good with beef or chicken too.

Caesar Vegetables
Caesar Vegetables - a camping recipe from LindaVA1. Excellent with grilled shrimp and corn on the cob.

Camp Kabobs
A camping recipe from Marsha. Camp Kabobs are easy and mess free. The kids like eating them too, because they're fun to eat. Bake potatoes directly in the fire, add some bread and you've got a meal.

Camp Shish Kabobs
A camping recipe from Wild Bill Gwaltney. This simple recipe produces great grilled meat flavor, so you may want to take more meat than you usually plan on.

Campfire Fajitas
A camping recipe from Chris. The smoke from the campfire along with the liquid smoke make for a very unique (and quite delicious) combo.

Campfire Pizza
A camping recipe from Becky and Carol. This is a Weight Watcher recipe for the oven, but friends tried on it on a campfire and it was yummy.

Cheese Coneys
A camping recipe from David. Great campground food. Who can resist a chili cheese dog?

Chicken Kabobs
A camping recipe from Tammy Cooke. Typically we start our trip with frozen chicken in the cooler. By day two it has thawed enough to work with for dinner. This has become one of our traditional camping dinners when we go to Yosemite for our annual hike up to the top of Half Dome.

Chicken Shish Kabobs
A camping recipe from Louie. I like to prepare the chicken ahead of time at home and put in the freezer. This helps keep the cooler cold and lets the chicken soak up the vibes from the marinade. The rum or wine adds a little extra flavor, as well as keeping the skewers from burning.

Corn and Sausage
A camping recipe from Hap. This is a tradition among German people in Indiana, and it is for a crowd.

Corn on the Cob
Corn on the Cob - camping recipe from Lou from West Virginia. A very easy recipe with virtually no preparation.

Deltadog's Beans and Franks
A camping recipe from Deltadog. This is very filling. Great with fresh Italian bread, butter, and a bottle of beer.

Dry Rub Ribs
A camping recipe from David. The weekend weather was perfect for grilling. I barbecued some baby back ribs using a dry rub.

Easy Campfire Pot Roast
A camping recipe from Jody Sample. This is a quick home-cooked meal.

Easy Cheese Melts
A camping recipe from Chris Keepes. This is the easiest recipe I know for a main meal.

Easy Chicken Tenders
A camping recipe from Christine A. Creech. We use this recipe when we are camping. It is really easy to marinate the chicken after lunch, and then it is ready to grill for dinner.

Grilled Chicken Burgers
A camping recipe from Teri. My kids and husband rave about these. They're quick and easy, and are a very tasty and healthy break from the traditional hamburger-on-a-bun thing.

Grilled P B and J
Grilled P B and J, a camping recipe from Dave.

Grilled Pizza
A camping recipe from Linda;. This recipe is a great departure from hot dogs and hamburgers on a camping trip.

Grilled Shrimp
A camping recipe from LindaVA1. We will be having this on our first outing in two weeks.

Grilled Shrimp
A camping recipe from Robin. Great with Parmesan Pasta or Couscous.

Hot Comal Tamale
A camping recipe from Santos. This tamale whip up is a common treat among the locals in southern California.

Italian Sausage Sandwich
A camping recipe from lilbitandme. I am not a cook, and I do not like to hang out at the grill, so I always bring hamburgers, hotdogs and marinated beef or chicken for fajitas. Super easy and great for when you get back from the beach.

Lemon Pepper Chicken
A camping recipe from Elizabeth. This is a delicious low-sodium recipe with very little fuss. Serve with salad and bread.

Mexican Foil Dinner
A camping recipe from Robin Legband. Very easy dinner to prepare camping, and it really hits the spot. Everything cooks together and mixes so well with very little preparation.

Onion
A camping recipe from Lynn Bird. People come from around the campground to ask what we are doing because it smells so good.

Pizza Burgers
A camping recipe from Charlene. Make your own individual little pepperoni pizzas.

Poor Man Ribs
A camping recipe from Kevin. Cook these on a grill while brushing with the sauce. Now you have a rack of poor man ribs.
