Fruity S'mores

A camping recipe from Tina Shull. While we were on our first camping trip this year, we had fresh strawberries out on the picnic table with our s'mores items. I put one between the 2 cookies I used instead of the graham crackers, and along with the chocolate and the roasted marshmallow, which helped keep the strawberry in place while I ate it. Tastes yummy.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
  • graham crackers
  • Hershey bars
  • marshmallows
  • fruit
Preparation:
When making fruity s'mores, start with the usual ingredients: graham cracker (or any type of cookie), marshmallow to roast on stick over campfire, and individual chocolate squares. During fruit season, add fresh berries to the s'mores. For instance, you can try strawberries (halved works better), raspberries, bananas, blueberries or blackberries.
