A camping recipe from David. This is the easy version because it uses a jar of store-bought marinara sauce. If you prefer, you can make your own marinara.
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 0 hour, 0 minute
Ingredients:
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 jar marinara or spaghetti sauce
  • 1 9-ounce package fettucine, linguine, or spaghetti
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese
  • crusty bread
Preparation:
Cook chicken breasts on grill. While the chicken is grilling, heat a big pot of water for the pasta. When chicken is done, set it aside and let it cool for a few minutes. Meanwhile pour the sauce into a pan and heat. Slice the cooked chicken breasts into thin strips and place into the sauce. Put pasta into boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes. When pasta is done, drain well and return it to the pan it was boiled in. Pour the sauce with chicken over the pasta and toss. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve with crusty bread and top with Parmesan cheese.
