A camping recipe from Sharon. I live in Australia and sometimes camp in remote places. On this particular trip we had run out of just about everything, and our kids were hungry. We came up with this recipe. It's simple and quick, and the kids dubbed them "Bush Eggs." They still eat them to this day.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs per serving
- 2 slices bread per serving
- vegetable oil
- Lancashire Relish
Preparation:
Heat oil in a pan over the cooler part of an open fire. Add eggs and while cooking toast bread over fire until brown. Place eggs on bread and top with Lancashire relish (a milder, fruity Worcestershire sauce popular in Australia).
Servings: as needed
