A camping recipe from Lori. Many of my guests now request me to make my taters on the grill. It is easy to make and easy to clean. As an option, I've also added parmesan cheese.

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 5-6 large red potatoes
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 3-4 cubes chicken bullion
  • Mrs. Dash
  • 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups water
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Preparation:

Clean potatoes and cut into cubes with the skin on. Boil water with the bullion cubes and set aside. Prepare aluminum foil by folding each end three times to make a canoe look. Fill with potatoes, water mixture, sliced butter and seasonings. Fold top to seal and place on grill for 25 minutes. Open top and use canoe as a bowl, or place potatoes into a heat resistant bowl.

Servings: 6-8
Preparation time: 30 minutes
