A camping recipe from Lou Ann. You can add as much vegetables and cabbage and even add another can of corn beef per your taste and quantities you want to make. You can use Natural Seasoning, Dash, or pepper, celery seed, salt, garlic and anything else you want to season with. I use Natural Seasoning, because it has most of the seasonings in it. Play with it.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour
Ingredients:
  • 1 can corn beef
  • 1 bag mixed vegetables or 2 cans of Vegetable All
  • 2 bags of coleslaw or half a head of cabbage
  • 4 good size potatoes
  • seasonings
Preparation:
Open the can of corn beef and put it in a pot of water and add what seasonings you want to use. Cook until the corn beef has broken up and has created broth in the pot (approximately 30 minutes). Then peel and cut up your potatoes into small pieces and add to the pot. If you have frozen vegetables, add them in with the potatoes. If you decided on canned vegetables, wait until the potatoes are done before adding. When the potatoes are done, add the coleslaw or 1/2 head of cabbage that has been cut up into small pieces, and if you decided on canned vegetables add them as well. Check the broth to see if you need to add more seasoning and cook until cabbage is done. Then serve.

Servings: 10-12
