A camping recipe from David. This recipe is the outcome of browsing the produce section of the grocery store looking for ingredients to make a quick and simple salad at the campground.

Ingredients:
- 1 bag shredded cabbage
- 1/2 bag shredded carrots
- handful of dried cranberries
- handful of walnut pieces
- 1 cup dressing
- ground fresh pepper
Preparation:
Toss all ingredients in a large bowl. You can use any dressing you prefer. I've made it with slaw dressing and poppy seed dressing. Serve immediately and refrigerate any leftovers. To avoid cleaning up at the campground, I make my slaw at home the night before a camping trip. I put it all in the frig in a freezer Ziploc. It will keep in the cooler for several days.
