A camping recipe from Anne Bull. It is a favorite of my kids and so easy to do.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 1 pack of beef/pork meatballs already prepared (usually in the fridge at the supermarket)
  • 1 jar of spaghetti sauce (we prefer Dolmio with added onion)
  • 2 packs of boil in the bag rice or pasta if you prefer
  • Parmesan cheese
  • crusty bread
Preparation:
Start by boiling some water for the rice in one pan and in another add the meatballs, heat these through for 5 minutes. The water should be boiling by now, so drop the rice in. Add the jar of sauce to the meatballs and let simmer on low heat until the rice has cooked. When the rice is cooked share between 4 plates or bowls with the meatballs on top of the rice. Serve with a sprinkling of Parmesan and a loaf of crusty bread.

Servings: 4
