A camping recipe from camp cween. The name comes from the way they are consumed once made. Woof'um down! Woofums are a fun treat and a nice change from s'mores. They are also less messy. It's fun to try them with different fillings such as honey butter, pudding or jam too.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 can of Pillsbury Grand Biscuits or other refrigerated biscuits
- 1 can of pie filling of your choice
- 1 can of refrigerated whipped topping
- 1 woofem stick for each camper
Preparation:
Open dough and seperate biscuits. Using 1/2 a biscuit, spread dough over the end of your woofum stick. Slowly roast over the campfire till the dough is cooked and toasty brown (about 10 minutes). Slide dough (crust) off end of woofum stick. You now have a pie crust. Fill the little pie/biscuit with your favorite fruit topping and finish with a dallop of whipped cream. Now 'WOOF' it down!
Servings: 8-10
