A camping recipe from Karen. A quick and easy skillet meal.

Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 to 2 pounds lean ground beef (or other lean meat)
- 2 15-ounce cans refried beans
- 1 12-16 ounce package of fresh salsa
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1/2 to 1 tablespoon chili powder
- lettuce, shredded
- sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- sour cream
- flour tortillas
Preparation:
Brown ground beef in a large skillet, and drain if necessary. Add the fresh salsa and cook for 5 minutes. Add the beans, garlic and chili powder. Stir well and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve on flour tortillas with lettuce, cheese and sour cream. To make a salad version, don't use a tortilla and add more lettuce.
