We enjoyed the park very much. The San Marcus river runs by the park. You can swim in the park pool or the river, tube, fish,canoe rentals are next door. Their were several staff making rounds thru out our stay to make sure our stay was pleasant. The park is very manicured. It is one that will be on our top ten list. Happy camping!

Altough the park could be a great place to stay, I found that the access to the river to be dangerous just to walk on the trails. Debris that had washed ashore after floods had not been removed creating a haven for rodents, snakes, and other vermin that inhabit unkept places. The river access also had large stagnent pools of water that breed mosquitos as well as other incests that spread desease. I found the management and the owners to be quite rigid and un accomadating, as well as combative. The rules are far more rigid than all the other parks that I have stayed at.
