As an assistant scoutmaster in our troop with a background in cooking I get to do all the cooking for the adults in the troop. I try to do something different each month for two reasons, it's fun and it shows the boy's the options that are available for them. While searching the internet for our last campout I came upon this recipe, and at first wasn't sure about it but decided it was worth a try and if it didn't work the worsdst that would happen is that it never would get made again. As I was going over the menu there were quite a few raised eyebrows of uncertainty, after breakfast that all change to ""I want a copy for myself"" and ""this has got to go into the favorites file of our cookbook"", and as is usually the case with most meals the adults have there are a few voltures (boys) hanging around for leftovvers. I chose to make it with pancake mix this time since our dinner was going to have a corn meal based dumpling in it. I'm sure I will try it again and will mix things up a bit. I am even planing on moving it out af the camping relm and into the church brunch/company food day in a 9X13 pan.
