Campground Reviews from Fellow Campers
Campground name:Chicot State Park
Date of visit (mo/yr):February 2010
Location (city/state):Ville Platte, Louisiana
We have gone to Chicot State Park several time at different times of the year. There is a North Landing Campground and a South Landing Campground. The South side has a lot for children to do and a lot more scenic. We prefer the north side because although there is a play area for children they are not as many and quite a few adults without children are there. All the restrooms are clean and the staff is very nice. Would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. The site pads are large, the cabins are beautiful and mostly on the lake.
