My Review

We are die-hard tent campers and we love tent camping at Knoebels. We have tent camped at Knoebels numerous times, but this time we opted to stay in one of the cabins built by Knoebels (they also own a lumber yard). It was a blast! The cabin had a beautiful covered front porch with a picnic table and a porch light (no bugs). Inside, the cabin was very rustic, but clean. There were several electrical outlets inside the cabin. The cabin came with one queen size bed and mattress on the ground floor and two full mattresses up in the second floor loft. The loft also had a draw-fan to draw out the hot air and we brought our own oscillating fan, and we were very comfortable at night. We noticed the cabin next to ours had brought a small portable air conditioner, but they didn't come out of their cabin very much! We had a fire ring in front of our cabin and even though there was a 105 degree heat index, we still had a campfire in the evening to make those delicious smores! The first day we did Knoebels Amusement Park - the second day we spent the entire day in Knoebels Crystal Pool - mountain water - very refreshing! I will always recommend tent camping at Knoebels, but the cabin was great too. The restrooms and bathhouse are always close by and are always clean. I love everything about Knoebels. It is like a step back in time!
