We have brought a group for several years here to camp and raft for a long weekend. The employee's behind the counter are rude and grumpy. Customer service is terrible. There have been dead rats in the pool over the years and this year while sitting at the picnic table in the evening a huge rat was running around under our trailer. Some of our group and many others there are tent camping. For a campground with a limited season, you would think they would make your stay a good experience to get you to come back. That is not their policy. They did remodel the bathrooms, but only one of the three showers in the womens bath are any good and the person installing the new stalls didn't do it right so the stall doors don't lock. Location is great, but that is about it.
How did you camp?
RVHow did you find out about this campground?
Our son lives down the road on the river and with a big group we needed more room. He found the campground.
Pros and cons?
Pros: good location, pool, showers, store.
Cons: rodents, bad customer service, remodeled bath rooms are nice, but showers have no pressure and doors don't lock.
