Mexico Beach, FloridaMy Review
Have just spent a wonderful weekend at this campground. It is off the main highway, but is close to the sand, the water and shopping in the quaint community of Mexico Beach. There are several really good places to eat, and you are close to Port St. Joe and Apalacheecola, two more quaint communities. The campground has water, electricity and sewer hookups. There are some 50-amp sites and more are being added. There is a pool, a laundry room and nice bathhouses. There are also cabins for rent, great for a family of campers and non-campers. There is cable and Wi-Fi. There is some shade. I have been camping here for years and continue to go back again and again.

Pros and cons?
Cons include unpaved roads, which can be bone jarring. Biting insects can be a problem, but OFF helps. Right now, the Wi-Fi is down after a bad storm. Pros are a quiet campground, a PassPort America Park and pet friendly.
Nearby attractions?
White sands, aqua water, beautiful sunsets, fun shopping, close to Tyndall AFB, if you are military. A ride up the beach will take you to several fishing villages, and Wakulla Springs is about an hour away. Panama City Beach is an hour in the opposite direction.
