Avoid at all cost. I have camped all over the country, and I have never been treated so badly. The campsite was empty, and now I know why. We were given a site on a rocky hill, while being surounded by 20 flat empty sites. My car has an air splitter so I could not park it on the hill due to low ground clearance. I parked in an empty site and informed the girl in the office I was doing so. At 10 pm I was coming back from a shower when I see the owner of the campsite in a golf cart screaming at my son telling him to move the car. My son informed him politely that he was 15 and couldn't drive. He kept screaming "I don't care, move the car!" I approached and told him to stop screaming at my son. He said he owned the place, and I was breaking the rules. I told him to calm down and he said, "Do you want a piece of me?" I'm 45 and he looked 65, I asked if he was crazy? He continued pointing his finger in my face telling me "You people don't read rules". He continued taunting me. I told him that I told the girl in the office what I was doing and he called me a liar. I called him mentally ill. This went on for five minutes until he left, screaming "move the car." People from another loop having heard the ruckus came up to our site and said they said they would back up my story if somehow the police became involved.
I honestly believe the owner had some kind of mental issue, it is the only way to explain his bizarre behavior. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
